The 2006-2007 Tampa Bay Peforming Arts Center Renovations Project requests $328,195 to help renovate and repair the Center's glass and steel canopy system, walkways, fountains, and fountain plaza and to reseal the exterior of the facility's original building. The TBPAC opened in 1987 and is operating five theaters and a new education facility. The TBPAC presents and produces the highest quality and most diverse performing arts and arts-education programs available. During the 2006-2007 season of work, the TBPAC will celebrate its 20th anniversary of year-round services to the State of Florida and will greet its 10-millionth patron.
