Project Description:
The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (TBPAC) is requesting a $240,000 Cultural Endowment Matching Share that will help provide investment income that is vital to sustaining and growing cultural programming. Obtaining Endowment Fund monies will help fund the TBPAC's vital arts education and outreach programs, which service up to 60,000 students of all ages each year. These programs are provided at the TBPAC's newly opened Patel Conservatory and at inner-city and rural sites, including community centers, schools, hospitals, and migrant venues. These programs expand and enrich school curricula, enhance constituency-building, and foster audience development. They also add to both Tampa Bay's and the state's cultural growth and public-private partnerships by creating dynamic community collaborations and access opportunities.
