Project Description:
Graduate students benefit the greatest when they can receive hands-on training in the field to supplement their classroom work on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. The lack of availability of on-site housing at the UF/IFAS, NFREC-Marianna Research and Education Center for graduate students is a major detriment to training graduate students in agricultural sciences. We need a small dormitory that can house up to 8 students to enhance our ability to educate future scientists for support of agriculture in Florida.
