| The science instructional enhancement program used should have external evidence of efficacy. The program used should be fully implemented according to designed intention. The outcome of this program should be measured by locating appropriately comparable control group (non-participating classroom) for each program group (participating classroom). At the conclusion of the instructional period and after the administration of the FCAT science test, the scores of students in the control group should be compared and evaluated in relation to the scores of the students in the program group. Additionally, outcomes of this program will be measured for the first year based on the administration of pre and post surveys of: teacher satisfaction with science instructional program, student engagement (as reported by parents, students and teachers). | |||||||||
