Explanation:
Reduces $18,646,095 from the General Revenue Fund and $24,626,347 from the
Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund in the Home and Community Based
Services Waiver and provides $10,437,856 from the General Revenue Fund and
$13,785,527 from the Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund to begin
serving adults over the age of 22 who live in the family home that do not
have significant nursing, behavioral, or personal care needs in the Family
and Supported Living Waiver rather than the Home and Community Based
Services Waiver effective April 1, 2008.

The funds in Specific Appropriation 270 reflect a reduction of
$18,646,095 from the General Revenue Fund and $24,626,347 from the
Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund as a result of serving adult
clients over the age of 22 who live in the family home that do not have
significant nursing, behavioral, or personal care needs in the Family
and Supported Living waiver effective April 1, 2008.
The agency is directed to amend provider contracts and seek waivers as
necessary.

Living waiver effective April 1, 2008.
The agency is directed to amend provider contracts and seek waivers as
necessary.
Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items. |
