In Section 05 On Page 233
1859 Grants And Aids To Local Governments And
Nonstate Entities - Fixed Capital Outlay
Grants And Aids - Water Projects
Immediately following the last paragraph in Specific Appropriation 1859,
INSERT:
Local governments receiving funds in Specific Appropriation 1859 shall
provide matching dollars as follows: a) 25 percent for wastewater
projects; b) 50 percent for stormwater and surfacewater restoration
projects; and c) 50 percent for drinking water projects. Financially
disadvantaged small local governments, as defined in section 403.885(5),
Florida Statutes, shall be exempt from the match provision of this
section. Local governmental entities that have been declared in a state
of financial emergency pursuant to section 218.503, Florida Statutes,
shall be exempt from the match provision.
