Immediately following Specific Appropriation 2124, INSERT:
The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission shall prioritize these
funds in Specific Appropriation 2124 toward partnerships between the
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and private entities through
land protection agreements and similar tools. These agreements are to
bring environmentally sensitive tracts under an acceptable level of
protection at a lower financial cost to the public. These tracts will
be adjacent to lands managed by the Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission, provide private landowners with the opportunity to enjoy and
benefit from their property and provide public access.
