Member's Desks

Each Member’s desk has a panel of voting buttons, a microphone, computer network connections, and a telephone directly tied to the Member’s Capitol office (outside calls cannot be made). Laptop computers allow Members to view amendments, bills, and chamber activity. The numbers on the nameplates next to the Members’ names refer to the district from which they were elected.
