Defines the term "electronic transmission" for purposes of the Florida Not For Profit Corporation Act; authorizes forms of electronic transmission of notice for domestic or foreign corporations; provides for a corporation member to revoke consent to receiving notice by electronic transmission; provides that an affidavit of notice by electronic transmission is, in the absence of fraud, prima facie evidence of the facts stated in the notice; provides for domestication of foreign not-for-profit corporations; redefines "mortgage" for purposes of specified foreclosure proceedings to include liens created pursuant to covenants of a homeowners' association; revises condominium insurance requirements; provides for application of such requirements; requires a report be prepared for publication by the Office of Insurance Regulation of the Department of Financial Services; requires certain coverage; revises recordkeeping requirements; provides that the association is not liable for accidentally or inadvertently disclosing address information; authorizes the association to provide information to prospective purchasers or lienholders; provides for a fee for providing information; allows use of limited proxies for votes taken to waive financial reporting requirements; provides for a condominium association to transmit electronic notices to unit owners; revises requirements for use of proxies for voting; authorizes the association to broadcast notice via a closed-circuit television system; prohibits notice by electronic transmission for a recall of board members; provides for association bylaws to authorize the electronic transmission of notices; provides that a described fee may be charged for preparation of a certificate stating amounts owed; provides that actions with respect to obligations of condominium owners shall not be deemed actions for specific performance; revises recordkeeping requirements for cooperative associations; provides that the association is not liable for accidentally or inadvertently disclosing address information; authorizes the association to provide information to prospective purchasers or lienholders; provides for a fee for providing information; provides for a cooperative association to transmit electronic notices to unit owners; revises requirements for use of proxies for voting; authorizes the association to broadcast notice via a closed-circuit television system; prohibits notice by electronic transmission for recall of board members; provides for association bylaws to authorize the electronic transmission of notices; provides that described fee may be charged for preparation of certificate stating amounts owed; provides that actions with respect to the obligation of cooperative owners shall not be deemed actions for specific performance; clarifies that corporations not for profit that operate residential homeowners' associations are subject to the Florida Not For Profit Corporation Act; authorizes a homeowners' association to broadcast notice via a closed-circuit television system; provides that the association is not liable for accidentally or inadvertently disclosing address information.
