Provides the popular name the "Clara Ramsey Care of the Elderly Act"; requires the Agency for Workforce Innovation to establish a pilot program for the delivery of geriatric nursing education; creates a steering committee; requires the agency to conduct or contract for an evaluation of the pilot program and to report to the Governor and the Legislature; provides requirements for persons to become certified geriatric specialists; provides guidelines for the practice and supervision of certified geriatric specialists; includes the services provided by a certified geriatric specialist within the definition of nursing service and includes certified geriatric specialists in other provisions of law relating to the provision of nursing services or the education and training of nurses; defines the term "practice of a certified nursing assistant" and authorizes the adoption of rules relating to the practice and supervision of certified nursing assistants.
