Medicaid Program Administration:
Authorizes the Agency for Health Care Administration to revoke or refuse to renew certain provider agreements; requires the agency to maximize the use of risk contracting in providing for health care services; eliminates the proportion restrictions to assigning recipients to managed care plans; authorizes the agency to outsource Medicaid program administrative functions; requires the agency to contract with an actuarial firm to conduct an evaluation of Medicaid reimbursement methodologies; requires the agency to report such findings to the Legislature; requires the agency to conduct a study to design and implement a standard for handling Medicaid records electronically; provides a nonspecific appropriation.
