HB 1639 (2005) -  Youthful Drivers

Authorizes the court to require a minor found to have committed certain traffic infractions and the minor's parents or guardians to participate in a registered youthful driver monitoring service; provides for youthful driver monitoring services to notify parents or guardians with information about a minor's driving; provides for registration with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; revises license restrictions for certain minors participating in a registered youthful driver monitoring service; authorizes insurance discounts for participation in a registered youthful driver monitoring service.
Effective Date: July 1, 2005.
