HJR 1679 (2005) -  Restoration of Rights

Proposes an amendment to s. 4, Art. VI of the State Constitution to allow the Legislature to restore the rights to vote and to hold office of a person convicted of a felony who is subsequently exonerated of the offense; also deletes inoperative provisions relating to term limits for members of Congress and U.S. Senators, which provisions have been determined by the U.S. Supreme Court to violate the U.S. Constitution.
