General Bill   by Meadows
Caregivers for Adults: Provides legislative intent to foster caregiving as a nonlicensed paraprofessional activity and to promote the caregivers' use of best practices; provides for the Department of Elderly Affairs to contract with a not-for-profit corporation; specifies requirements of the contract; requires reports to the Governor and the Legislature; provides duties of the Florida Policy Exchange Center on Aging and other public agencies; provides for the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability to conduct a review of the corporation by a specified date and to report to the Governor and the Legislature.
Effective Date: July 1, 2006.
