Joint Legislative Sales and Use Tax Exemption Review Committee: Creates the Joint Legislative Sales and Use Tax Exemption Review Committee for the purpose of reviewing exemptions from the general state sales and use tax; provides for appointments to and organization of the committee; specifies duties and procedures with respect to such review; provides for open meetings; provides for reports; requires continuing periodic review of sales and use tax exemptions; provides a period of exemption from review for newly enacted exemptions; provides applicability to other legislation proposing to modify, repeal, or enact an exemption.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law.
