General Bill
Increasing Competition in Procurement of Commodities and Contractual Services:
Provides additional legislative intent; revises definitions; specifies maximizing competition as an additional purpose of the Department of Management Services in purchasing commodities and contractual services; revises provisions for procurement of commodities or contractual services; subjects specified contractual services and commodities to competitive-solicitation requirements; limits the term of contracts, including renewals and extensions.

July 1, 2006.
