Surgical First Assistance: Provides procedures relating to certified surgical first assistants; establishes performance guidelines for supervising physicians and certified surgical first assistants; designates scope of section; establishes liability of supervising physicians; requires certain payments to certified surgical first assistants or their employers by health insurance policies, health care services plans, or other contracts; provides limitations; requires certain payments to certified surgical first assistants or their employers by health maintenance organizations; provides limitations.
