HB 1029 - Carrying of Firearms in National Forests
GENERAL BILL   by Baxley (CO-SPONSORS) Carroll; Clarke; Hasner; Hays; Kreegel; Stansel; Traviesa
Carrying of Firearms in National Forests: With respect to the carrying of firearms in national forests, repeals provisions of law which prohibit the carrying of firearms in national forests, which authorize the granting of a special permit for the carrying of firearms in a national forest, and which provide a penalty for violation thereof; requires the Department of Environmental Protection to amend the correlative rule in the Florida Administrative Code to allow the possession of weapons in compliance with all Florida Statutes; provides requirements with respect to amendment of the rule.
