GENERAL BILL   by Environment & Natural Resources Council and Mayfield and Williams, T. (CO-SPONSORS) Ford
Aggregate Mining: Creates Strategic Aggregates Review Task Force; authorizes DOT to pursue innovative engineering techniques relating to construction aggregate materials & to enter into agreements for construction aggregate materials; establishes pilot project for extraction of construction aggregate materials; prohibits local governments from enacting or enforcing actions that prohibit mining in certain lands; provides expedited permitting process for certain limerock environmental resource permitting & reclamation applications; provides for challenge of agency actions.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law.
