General Bill   by Policy & Budget Council and Government Efficiency & Accountability Council and Gibson and Cusack (CO-SPONSORS) Homan
Workplace Safety: Creates 15-member Florida Public Task Force on Workplace Safety within USF Safety Florida Consultation Program to develop findings & issue recommendations on innovative ways by which state may effectively ensure that each state department & agency & each county & municipal government complies with subparts C through T & subpart Z of OSHA Standards, 29 C.F.R. s. 1910, as revised July 1, 1993, with exception of standards pertaining to firefighters & fire departments; provides membership & staffing; provides members may be reimbursed for per diem & travel expenses; requires officers & agencies of state to assist task force, when requested; requires first meeting on or before August 15, 2008; provides issues to be addressed; requires report to Governor, CFO, President of Senate, & Speaker of House of Representatives by January 1, 2009; dissolves task force upon report submission; provides appropriation.
