SB 2544 (2008) -  Postelection Audits [LPCC]

Repeals specified provision relating to audits of the voting system of any county. Requires that the Secretary of State appoint an independent postelection audit team each year. Requires that the Secretary of State direct hand-to-eye counts of certain ballots. Requires that audits be conducted for certain elections. Authorizes the audit team to conduct audits of certain elections at its discretion, etc.
