General Bill
Production and Shipment of Wine:
Authorizes direct shipment of wine into & within this state for personal consumption only; provides legislative intent; requires licensure of winery shippers by Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco; provides license requirements; requires recipients of direct shipment of wine to be 21 years of age; requires proof of age & signature of recipient; provides for payment of taxes, monthly report, & recordkeeping by winery shippers; provides requirements for common carriers that make deliveries of wine; provides administrative & criminal penalties for violations of act; authorizes division & DOR to adopt rules; revises effective date; authorizes certain manufacturers of wine holding distributor's license to renew such license; removes exemption of Florida Farm Wineries from prohibition against manufacturer being licensed as distributor or registered as exporter; conforms provisions to changes made by act; revises requirements for qualifying as certified Florida Farm Winery.
