General Bill
Cigarette Tax:
Provides for additional tax on cigarettes; provides for distribution of proceeds from additional cigarette tax; specifies allocation of proceeds from increase in cigarette tax to specified trust funds; specifies application of additional tax to existing inventory; requires persons with existing inventory to certify such inventory to Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco of DBPR & remit amount of additional tax due on such inventory; provides for application of specified penalties & interest on delinquent taxes; provides for deposit of proceeds from additional tax collected on such inventory.
