HB 245 (2009) -  Production and Shipment of Wine

Authorizes direct shipment of wine into & within Florida for personal consumption only; requires licensure of winery shippers by Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco; requires recipients of direct shipment of wine to be at least 21 years of age; requires proof of age & signature of recipient; provides for payment of taxes, monthly report, & recordkeeping by winery shippers; requires licensed winery shippers to make deliveries in company-owned or company-leased vehicles or by common carrier; provides requirements for common carriers; provides administrative & criminal penalties for violations of act; authorizes division & DOR to adopt rules; revises requirements for qualifying as certified Florida Farm Winery; provides for severability.
