HB 277 (2009) -  Pub. Rec./Law Enforcement Photographs or Video Recordings

Provides exemption from public records law for investigative or crime scene photographs or video recordings of deceased person, part of deceased person, or any part of person's extreme, severe, or acute injuries held by law enforcement agency; provides exceptions; provides for certain access thereto & requirements therefor; exempts specified proceedings; provides for future legislative review & repeal; provides finding of public necessity; provides for retroactive effect.
Effective Date: on the same date that HB 275 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is enacted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes law
