HB 605 (2009) -  Special Risk Class Retirement Benefits

Prohibits certain members of Special Risk Class from being reemployed or contracting with same employing agency from which member retired; extends period of time during which certain Special Risk Class members may participate in FRS DROP; deletes obsolete provisions; provides legislative findings with respect to state's interest in protecting public's safety & welfare by extending retirement benefits for officers & funding increased retirement benefits in actuarially sound manner; provides declaration of important state interest.
