CS/SB 1072 (2009) -  Special Risk Class Retirement Benefits [WPSC]

Provides that certain members of the Special Risk Class may participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program for an additional 36 months. Prohibits such members from being reemployed or contracting with the same employing agency from which the member retired. Provides legislative findings with respect to the state's interest in protecting the public's safety and welfare by extending retirement benefits for officers, etc.
