CS/SB 1296 (2009) -  Public Swimming [SPSC]

by General Government Appropriations and Bennett
Requires the Department of Health to notify the local government and the local office of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) when it issues a health advisory against swimming in beach waters due to elevated levels of bacteria. Requires the DEP to promptly investigate wastewater treatment facilities within a certain distance of the beach and notify the local government of the results of such investigation, etc.
