SB 1536 (2009) -  Domestic Violence/Injunctions for Protection [SPSC]

Requires a law enforcement officer, under certain circumstances, to arrest and to keep in custody for a specified period a person who is suspected of domestic violence and a suspected primary aggressor in a case of domestic violence. Requires the court, under certain circumstances, to order the sheriff to take into custody and to keep in custody for a specified period the respondent of a petition for an injunction for protection, etc.
