Cardiology Services: Requires EMS providers to transport certain cardiac patients to most appropriate facility; provides legislative findings; requires each medical director of EMS provider to develop & implement certain protocols for cardiac patients; provides exemption; requires DOH to identify & provide to EMS providers opportunities & resources to secure appropriate equipment for identification of certain cardiac patients; authorizes medical directors to determine appropriate transport locations for patients; requires participation by certain hospitals; requires notice of changes; requires hospitals to report certain data; provides timeframe for compliance; requires rulemaking.
