Employment Discrimination: Creates Helen Gordon Davis Equal Pay Protection Act; provides legislative findings relating to equal pay for equal work for women; recognizes importance of AWI & FCHR in ensuring such equal pay; requires AWI to conduct studies & provide information to employers, labor organizations, & public concerning means available to eliminate pay disparities between men & women; creates Governor's Recognition Award for Pay Equity in the Workplace; requires that award be made annually to Florida businesses that engage in activities to eliminate barriers to equal pay for equal work for women; requires director of AWI & chair of FCHR to work cooperatively with EOG to create eligibility criteria for employers to receive award.
