CS/HB 7085 (2009) -  Criminal Justice

Requires DOC to send Parole Commission monthly electronic list of inmates & offenders who may be eligible for civil rights restoration; applies sexual misconduct prohibition to employees of private correctional facilities; provides for filing & payment of medical claims for services provided to inmates; provides limits on reimbursement for certain inmate medical expenses without contract between DOC or private correctional facility & certain provider; provides that persons who are electronically monitored pay for monitoring; provides for exceptions; provides for development & distribution of uniform order of supervision forms & requires use of such forms; provides probation or community control condition that offender live without violating any law; requires that offender on probation or community control submit to digitized photo for website; deletes provisions relating to criminal quarantine community control; eliminates requirements for collection of certain information from administrator of county detention facility; requires report to be submitted concerning offender in youthful offender basic training within specified period prior to offender's scheduled release; provides for retention of court jurisdiction over certain offenders for restitution orders; provides filing period for actions for costs of incarceration.
