GENERAL BILL   by Porth and Legg (CO-SPONSORS) Schwartz
Human Services Personnel: Designates act as "Protecting Florida's Most Vulnerable Citizens Act"; requires owner or operator of child care facility to report background screening results to DCFS before employing person at child care facility; prohibits hiring of person with disqualifying offense without being granted exemption; requires child welfare services staff to obtain child welfare certification; requires DCFS to designate credentialing entity to administer certification process; requires department to develop minimum trainer qualifications; revises administrative penalties; requires owner or administrator of assisted living facility to report background screening results to agency before employing person at assisted living facility; prohibits DCFS & AHCA from granting certain exemptions from disqualification from employment.
