Dentistry and Dental Hygiene: Revises scope & area of practice for dental hygienists; revises locations at which dental hygienists may perform dental charting; authorizes dental hygienists to perform certain duties without supervision or authorization by dentist; requires that dental hygienists in health access setting provide certain disclaimer to patients before procedure is performed; provides that health access setting may bill for certain services; requires that dental hygienists provide referral, encourage establishment of dental home, & maintain insurance coverage in specified circumstances.
