General Bill   by Judiciary Committee and Criminal Justice Subcommittee and Dorworth (CO-SPONSORS) Abruzzo; Baxley; Broxson; Caldwell; Corcoran; Gaetz; Plakon; Tobia; Van Zant; Workman
Firearms: Provides that person in compliance with terms of concealed carry license may openly carry handgun notwithstanding specified provisions; allows Division of Licensing of DACS to take fingerprints from concealed carry license applicants; provides that person may not openly carry handgun or carry concealed weapon or firearm into specified locations; provides that concealed carry licensees shall not be prohibited from carrying or storing firearm in vehicle for lawful purposes; provides that provision limiting scope of license to carry concealed weapon or firearm does not modify certain exceptions to prohibited acts with respect to person's right to keep & bear arms in motor vehicles for certain purposes; repeals provisions relating to purchase of rifles & shotguns in contiguous states; provides that specified provisions do not apply to certain firearms transactions by resident of this state that take place in another state.
