General Bill by Budget Subcommittee on General Government Appropriations and Banking and Insurance and Smith
Insurance: Authorizing the Office of Insurance Regulation to expend funds for the professional development of its employees; providing that the transfer of a policy to certain other insurers is considered a renewal of the policy rather than a cancellation or nonrenewal; requiring notice of such transfer; specifying which types of policies such transfer provisions apply to; exempting certain insurers from performing onsite premium audits for workers’ compensation insurance, etc.
