Citing this act as the "Minor Traffic Safety Act;" prohibiting a person younger than 18 years of age from operating a motor vehicle while using a wireless communications device or telephone; requiring that the course content of driver improvement schools include awareness training about using certain electronic devices while driving; providing for a voluntary check-off on motor vehicle registration forms to make a contribution to the Auto Club South Traffic Safety Foundation; requiring traffic law and substance abuse education program content to include awareness of using certain electronic devices while driving; restricting the number of passengers under the age of 18 permitted in a vehicle operated by a person under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a driver at least 21 years of age, etc.
