Specifying eligibility of a death benefit payment to the surviving spouse, child, or joint annuitant of a law enforcement officer, correctional officer, correctional probation officer, or firefighter employed by a state agency; providing that benefits are paid by the State Risk Management Trust Fund; authorizing specified political subdivisions to offer a death benefit, etc.
