General Bill
Controlled Substances:
Authorizes defendant to move to depart from 3-year mandatory term of imprisonment & from mandatory fine for drug trafficking violation involving specified quantity of specified controlled substance; authorizes state attorney to object; authorizes sentencing court to grant motion if court finds that defendant has demonstrated by preponderance of evidence that specified criteria are met.
