Involuntary Commitment under the Baker Act:
Requires evidence of Alzheimer's disease or dementia-related disorder to be indicated in court order for involuntary examination; provides for temporary placement in secure area within receiving facility designated for persons with Alzheimer's disease or dementia-related disorder; limits timeframe for examination of persons with Alzheimer's disease or dementia-related disorder.
