HB 1593 (2003) -  Public Records Exemption for Foster Parent Applicants and Licensed Foster Parents

Expands the public records exemption for specified information relating to foster parents to include foster parent applicants and medical records of licensed foster parents and foster parent applicants; narrows the exemption to remove information contained in neighbor references; makes exempt the name, address, and telephone number of persons providing character or neighbor references; provides for expiration and retroactive application of the exemptions; clarifies language and makes editorial changes; provides for future review and repeal of the exemptions; provides a statement of public necessity.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect June 2, 2003
