General Bill
Governmental Reorganization:
Conforms the Florida Statutes to the amendment to the State Constitution, combining the functions of the former positions of Comptroller and Treasurer into the office of Chief Financial Officer, and the reorganization of executive-branch duties and functions to implement the constitutional amendment; repeals various provisions of the Florida Statutes to delete provisions made obsolete by the amendment to the State Constitution; preserves the running of specified time periods; protects the validity of pending administrative and judicial actions; provides for continuation and effect of certificates of authority, forms, licenses, rates, filings, and actions; provides for controlling effect in case of conflict; provides for application retroactive to January 7, 2003.
