HB 251 CS (2006) -  High-Risk Offenders

Provides a short title; provides that sexual predators who commit a sexual battery against certain victims shall be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole or gain-time; increases the mandatory minimum sentence applicable to dangerous sexual felony offenders; provides for county or municipal ordinances relating to the residence of persons subject to registration as sexual offenders or designated as sexual predators; provides applicability.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law.
