General Bill
Florida Retirement System:
Revises definition of the term "phased retirement program"; revises certain limitations on positions for which district school boards, community colleges, state universities, and the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind may reemploy a member of the Florida Retirement System after a specified period of retirement; extends participation in the Deferred Retirement Option Program to prekindergarten and K-20 employees receiving administrative authorization; revises the election period in the program for prekindergarten and K-20 employees.
Effective Date:
July 1, 2006, except that changes effected by this act to the Deferred Retirement Option Program shall take effect June 1, 2006.
