HB 975 (2006) -  Driver Licenses

Creates the "Mature Drivers Act"; revises age requirements for issuance of driver licenses; revises provisions relating to reporting of licensed driver's or applicant's mental or physical disability to drive or need to obtain or wear a medical identification bracelet and restriction of the driving privilege of a person who has accumulated six or more points within a 12-month period; conforms provisions to changes made by the act; revises age requirements for issuance of learner's driver licenses.
Effective Date: July 1, 2006.
