HB 1281 (2006) -  Vehicular Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injuries

Creates the "Wilkins-Caldwell Act"; requires a court to sentence a driver of a vehicle to a minimum term of imprisonment if the driver leaves the scene of a crash that results in death or personal injuries and the driver does not report to a law enforcement agency within a specified period of time.
Effective Date: July 1, 2006.
