HB 1457 CS (2006) -  Youth Custody Officers

Provides that youth custody officers may file criminal charges and gather evidence; provides that youth custody officers have the authority and powers of law enforcement officers, subject to specified exceptions, while in the performance of their duties; requires youth custody officers to be certified as law enforcement officers.
Effective Date: July 1, 2006.
