Aerospace: Changes the name of the Florida Spaceport Authority to Space Florida; revises the responsibilities and powers of Space Florida; repeals a provision relating to the development of a Cape San Blas spaceport facility; revises membership and powers of the board of supervisors; changes the name of the Spaceport Management Council to the Space Florida Management Council; revises the composition of the council's executive board; specifies membership of the Space Industry Committee; revises membership and duties of the Florida Space Research Institute board; authorizes the institute to develop a proposal for a Center of Excellence for Aerospace; revises responsibilities of the institute; requires the institute to establish a Center for Mathematics and Science Education Research at a state university; requires the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability to conduct a program evaluation of Space Florida, the Florida Space Research Institute, and the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation; provides additional authority of the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation; requires dealers at specified aerospace facilities to file monthly reports of sales tax collections with the Department of Revenue and the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation; requires the Department of Revenue to distribute sales and use tax revenues to the corporation; excepts local option sales tax collections; requires the Department of Education to establish the Florida Center for Mathematics and Science Education Research at a state university; specifies requirements for the center; requires the department to monitor the center.
