HB 7219 (2006) -  Sovereign Immunity

Provides that no contract of the state or its agencies or subdivisions may waive sovereign immunity for tortious conduct of the state or its agencies or subdivisions beyond the limitations of the legislative waiver of sovereign immunity except as expressly provided by general law; declares contractual provisions in violation to be void; provides that the bill is remedial.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law.
