Pub. Rec./Economic Development Agencies: Revises exemption from public records requirements for information related to business activities & trade secrets held by economic development agency; defines "proprietary confidential business information" & "trade secret"; reorganizes exemption; extends period of confidentiality for trade secrets; provides specific exemption for proprietary confidential business information; provdes for expiration thereof; provides specific exemption for federal employer identification numbers, unemployment compensation account numbers, & Florida sales tax registration numbers held by economic development agency; provides specific exemption for specified information held by economic development agency pursuant to administration of economic incentive program for qualified businesses; provides for limited duration of exemption; provides penalties; provides for future legislative review & repeal of such exemptions; provides statement of public necessity; repeals provisions relating to confidentiality of records held by OTTED, Enterprise Florida, Inc., or county or municipal governmental entities pursuant to specified incentive programs.
Effective Date: July 1, 2007.
